LEGO Love Thriving at event

If there's one think LEGO fans are good as it's connecting. But it still came as a shock when almost 1000 turned out at the Coast's first Brick Resales event at the University of the Sunshine Coast's Innovation Centre on Saturday. 

Getting a piece of action

There was some serious needle-in-hay-stack, hunting going on yesterday at a LEGO sales and show event, which continues today. A smorgasboard of LEGO parts and sculptures was laid out in the Carinya school hall. Some enthusiasts turned up looking for bits that had gone up the vacuum cleaner over the years. Other diehard builders were starting from scratch, with 2000-plus pieces to find.

Australia's only massive scale pick-a-brick LEGO event & Exhibition is coming to Tamworth on july 10 & 11 from 9am to 3pm to certain kids from the school holidays.

A sales and exhibition event is coming to Tamworth this week, promising more than 600kg of preloved parts, sets and minifigures to pick over and take home.

BrickResales is a massive showroom open to the public that buys and resells quality, pre-loved LEGO for a fraction of the cost of brand new LEGO. 


The owners of Brisbane's first second-hand LEGO store, Judy and Greg, were regulars at local LEGO events like the popular BrisBricks, where thousands of LEGO fanatics would line-up for the chance to dig through tonnes of LEGO to find the right parts for their collections.
